Somatic Psychotherapeutic Services

Somatic psychotherapy in Colorado for anxiety, trauma, burnout, and chronic stress.

Nervous system–informed therapy supporting regulation, healing, and relational patterns.

What Sessions are like

Somatic psychotherapy is a slower, body-centered process that works with your nervous system in real time.

We focus on noticing what is happening experientially—sensations, breath, posture, emotional shifts, and patterns of activation or settling—as they arise in the present moment.

Rather than analyzing experience from a distance, we work with it as it unfolds, allowing space for awareness, regulation, and integration to develop naturally.

How We Work

Sessions may include:

  • breath awareness and regulation practices

  • body-based tracking (felt sense)

  • grounding and orientation

  • gentle movement or resourcing

  • pendulation between activation and safety

These practices support the nervous system in processing activation and building greater capacity for regulation and internal steadiness.

Nervous System Patterns

Your nervous system adapts to your environment and experiences over time—especially in response to stress or overwhelm.

These adaptations can show up as anxiety, shutdown, chronic tension, emotional reactivity, or difficulty accessing calm and connection.

In therapy, we gently begin to notice these patterns and build more flexibility in how your system responds.

Attachment & Relational Patterns

Early relational experiences shape how we learn to experience safety, connection, and self-worth.

These patterns often continue into adulthood and can influence emotions, relationships, and internal beliefs.

In therapy, these dynamics are explored within a supportive, consistent relationship, allowing new experiences of safety, attunement, and connection to emerge over time.

Trauma-Informed Pacing

This work is paced with care.

We focus on safety, capacity, and small moments of regulation—allowing change to unfold gradually and sustainably.

  • Anxiety, chronic stress, and overwhelm patterns

  • Nervous system dysregulation and survival responses
